This leads her to the South American town of Puerto Miller, founded centuries ago by the Ismuit tribe—a small religious group shunned from the outside world. Gameplay Gameplay-wise, Tormented Souls 2 is essentially the same as its predecessor. The protagonist's actions are observed from a third-person perspective (TPP). In battles with the horrors of Puerto Miller, the heroine uses homemade, makeshift weapons. Outside of combat, Caroline solves puzzles of varying complexity, often involving using the right item in the right place.
