During the journey, the protagonist experiences visions with memories that do not seem to belong to her, and the boundary between sleep and reality becomes increasingly blurred. Signalis is quite a classic survival horror game. We observe our heroine from above (however, the camera is very zoomed in, as a result, sometimes it is more of a side-scrolling view than a classic top-down view). In some situations (in some story scenes and puzzles), the perspective changes to first-person. The player's task is to traverse locations and solve puzzles - they require breaking codes, using fragments of radio transmissions and using acquired items. Signalis offers attractive graphics that combine three-dimensional models with two-dimensional elements to create one coherent image. The whole thing is maintained in a manga style and designed in such a way as to resemble survival horror games from the late 90s - the models are quite undetailed, and the pixels are quite noticeable.
