To achieve this, the hero must traverse the length and breadth of his hometown and its surroundings, helping the inhabitants solve the problems that plague them on a daily basis. Even though the action of the described game is set in the world of Joe Richardson's two previous works, knowledge of them is not necessary to fully understand it. However, players who have completed Four Last Things and The Procession to Calvary will find some references to these items and various "winks" here. Like Joe Richardson's previous projects, Death of the Reprobate boasts unusual graphics. The visual setting is an original "conglomeration" of elements from hundreds of paintings representing the Renaissance era, the Rococo style and Romantic trends, which are in the public domain (thanks to which their digital reproductions can be used free of charge).
