"Senbei dreams he’s a serial killer being chased by the police, and it soon seems he has become one in real life, though he can’t remember committing the crimes; he finds Akane dead the first TIME—STOP—WATCH out, dear Senbei, before the Penguin Village Serial Murders begin again!"

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
Thus ends a seven-episode stretch of non-canon material, and we look forward to five of the greatest canon episodes ever adapted from the master’s work: the three-episode “2nd Penguin Village Grand Prix” and the two-episode “Ten Years in the Future” arc. Afterwards, the fifth and final year commences, consisting essentially entirely of non-canon episodes. What a long, strange trip it’s been—but you ain’t seen nothing yet!
